How Do I: Reserve / Renew @ Home
-
Click on "Online Search" at the top menu of this webpage.
-
Then click on the button titled "Go to My Library Account".
-
Enter your name, your barcode (the number on the back of your library card), and your PIN (Personal Identification Number). If you have never used the online catalog before, you must make up a PIN. Make it something EASY for you to remember; if you do forget your PIN, please ask for assistance.
-
The items that match your Title search will be displayed. If you want to request the book, click on the underlined word Request next to the one you want.
-
Once you request the book, you will see the Request Verification screen. Click on the Submit button on the lower left side.
-
You will see a screen that confirms your request was successful (see below). You can continue with your next search by clicking the New Search button on the top of the screen. If you have finished, click on the Home button on the top of the screen.
Can you offer different programs?
In recent years, patrons have expressed that programs are their favorite offering the library provides. Programs are based on attendance, interest and budget. We work diligently to provide programs for all of our patrons while being fiscally conservative. In the past, programs for teenagers or language classes have had low attendance. If you are an expert and would like to present something to our community, or if you have an idea for a program, feel free to reach out to us at ewpl@ewlibrary.org with your suggestions.
Can you allocate specific areas for meetings or tutoring?
Due to the size of our library, we cannot offer any private area for meetings or tutoring, but patrons are welcome to use our tables for studying and/or working quietly.
